Founded in 1978, Daehong Electric has over four decades of experience in designing, manufacturing, and supplying industrial electrical power distribution solutions. The company specializes in Medium and Low Voltage Switchgear Panels, Motor Control Centers (MCC), and Power Distribution Boards for large-scale industrial and infrastructure projects.

Daehong Electric operates from a 28,000 m² (approximately 8,500 pyeong) manufacturing site in Gijang-gun, Busan, South Korea, with a dedicated workforce of over 90 professionals. The company has earned strong technical recognition through qualifications as an approved supplier to Korea’s five major power generation companies and KHNP (Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power), as well as successful testing and certification by the Korea Electrotechnology Research Institute (KERI) for both high- and low-voltage switchgear.

With a strong global footprint, Daehong Electric has successfully delivered projects across the Middle East, Japan, Europe, and Southeast Asia. Its products are designed and manufactured to meet stringent regional and international certification standards, ensuring safety, reliability, and long-term performance.

Daehong Electric entered the U.S. market in 2019 through the supply of Distribution Panels and MCCs for the SK Battery America project in Commerce, Georgia. In 2022, the company established its U.S. subsidiary, DH Electric USA, to strengthen its local presence and project execution capabilities.

Beginning in 2023 with the Hyundai Motor Group Metaplant America (HMGMA) project in Savannah, Georgia, DH Electric USA has participated in a growing number of U.S.-based industrial projects. By 2025, the company achieved cumulative U.S. sales exceeding USD 10 million.

To support long-term growth and localized manufacturing, Daehong Electric acquired a site in Griffin, Georgia in 2025 for a new panel manufacturing facility. The facility is currently undergoing renovation and is expected to serve as a strategic production base for the U.S. market.
